High Intensity Interval Training HIIT
Prepare to sweat and get fit, plain and simple!
Go all-out for short durations, then recover and repeat on our specialised equipment as listed below. Expect some hill runs, block runs and good old burpees thrown in as well.
HIIT burns more calories overall than steady state cardio and significantly elevates metabolism for up to 48 hours post-workout as your body repairs and recovers.
This means that more body fat will be lost through interval training than steady state aerobic activity.
Interval training has also been shown to improve cardiovascular and lung health, lower blood pressure, improve cholesterol, aid mental wellness, improve insulin resistance and decrease the risk of developing type 2 diabetes. (Hood MS, Little JP, Tarnopolsky MA, Myslik F, Gibala MJ. Med Sci Sports Exerc. 2011 Oct).
Plus it’s great fun, we promise you’ll enjoy it!
