Süreyya Kahve is a natural extension of the KAILO philosophy, where wellness, culture and connection come together in a thoughtfully designed café experience. Brought to life by KAILO owner and Süreyya Kahve co-founder Kristy Morris, alongside co-founder Dr Oz Dedahayir, the concept introduces a new dimension to the Function Well community, blending nourishment with tradition in the heart of West End.

At its core, Süreyya Kahve is deeply personal. Inspired by Oz’s Turkish heritage, the concept honours his late grandmother, Süreyya, whose influence lives on through the recipes, rituals and spirit of hospitality that shape the café. It’s a space built on generations of tradition, where food and coffee are not just consumed, but experienced and shared.

Drawing from the richness of Turkish café culture, Süreyya Kahve embraces the idea of slowing down. From meaningful conversations over coffee to meals designed to be enjoyed together, every element reflects a sense of connection and presence. This is paired with KAILO’s modern, nutrition-led approach, ensuring that each offering is as nourishing as it is enjoyable.

Designed to sit seamlessly within the Function Well ecosystem, Süreyya Kahve offers members and guests a place to gather, refuel and reconnect. It represents a new chapter for KAILO, one that expands beyond wellness treatments and nutrition into a more holistic lifestyle experience.

As we prepare to open our doors, we’re excited to share a small taste of what’s to come, with a simple, make-at-home recipe inspired by the Sureyya Kahve menu.

Mango Chia Seed Pudding Serves 1

Ingredients:

· 1 scoop Mango Plant Well

· 2 tablespoons chia seeds

· ½ cup almond milk (or milk of choice)

Toppings:

· 1 tablespoon coconut yoghurt

· ¼ fresh mango, diced

· Coconut flakes

Method:

Stir together the Mango Plant Well, chia seeds and milk until well combined. Allow to sit for 10 minutes, then stir again to prevent clumping. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight, until thickened.

Top with coconut yoghurt, fresh mango and a sprinkle of coconut flakes before serving.
