Experience:
I’m an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with over four years of post-graduate experience across private practice, community health, and clinical exercise settings. Alongside this, I’ve spent more than seven years teaching Pilates in Brisbane’s leading studios and gyms, giving me the privilege of supporting hundreds of people through injury recovery, disability and chronic disease management, and rebuilding long-term strength and confidence in their bodies.
My areas of interest include helping people start or return to running, supporting rehabilitation from musculoskeletal injuries, and advancing women’s health. I’m also passionate about teaching the fundamentals of resistance training — helping people learn to lift well, improve movement quality, and feel confident in the gym, even if they’ve never exercised before!
I have additional training in women’s health across all life stages — from pregnancy and postpartum care through to perimenopause and menopause, where hormonal changes can affect bone health, muscle mass, and overall well being. I’m equally committed to supporting healthy ageing, helping people maintain strength, balance, and bone density to reduce the risk of osteoporosis, osteopenia, and falls.
Whether you’re recovering from injury or surgery, navigating a chronic condition, or simply wanting to build confidence and future-proof your health, I’ll help you create exercise routines that are safe, effective, and sustainable.
Philosophy:
Most people want to move more and feel better, but get overwhelmed by fitness fads, conflicting advice, or a body that doesn’t respond the way it used to. My role is to take out the guesswork and give you a plan tailored to your needs — whether you’re managing a health condition or injury, returning after a break, or simply wanting more structure and support.
My approach combines evidence-based practice with real-life understanding, helping you move with clarity, confidence, and consistency. After teaching Pilates at Functionwell for over four years, I’m so excited to now serve this community in a new way as an Exercise Physiologist and Performance Coach.
