Zach Bacigalupo
Performance Coach
Playing competitive sports and dealing with diabetes has taught me great discipline and persistence. I’ve adopted a ‘never give up’ attitude and changed my mindset to ‘how I can accomplish something’, instead of ‘if I can accomplish it’. After all, if it was easy everyone would be doing it.

Currently studying Bachelor of Exercise and Movement ScienceExperience
I have participated in sport from a young age, from playing rugby league, rugby
union and now boxing (to name a few). My main accomplishments are in
boxing where I have multiple QLD State Titles, National Golden Glove titles and I’ve represented Australia in international bouts as an amateur boxer. Turning professional in 2019, I continue to apply myself to sweet science. My coaching experiences range from working along-side professional boxers such
as Dennis Hogan and Jeff Horn, being Dennis Hogan’s pad man and having
travelled overseas as part of Team Hogan to prepare Dennis for his World Title bouts. In conjunction with coaching professional athletes, I also assist my clients to live their best lives through health and fitness. My passion for health and fitness continues through my education pathway in studying a Bachelor of Exercise and Movement Science scheduled to finish 2021.
Coaching Philosophy
My coaching philosophy is heavily based on functioning well – pardon the pun! By addressing our biomechanical weaknesses at the core and adapting our physical state to move efficiently, we then enjoy movement and start to help the rest of the body’s functions.
