A background in martial arts led to exploring the many benefits of physical training on the body and mind. This interest eventually brought me through the doors of Function Well more than ten years ago.
Since beginning as a coach, I have continued to expand my knowledge in the areas of health and performance. While developing my skills as a strength coach, I was drawn to better understand the function of the body through my study of massage and joint mobilisation techniques. I thoroughly enjoy the privilege of teaching others and have relished the opportunity to help my clients reach their goals.
I believe that when a person has a clear perception of what they want to achieve and maintains that strong focus with their approach to training and nutrition, they will get amazing results. This is definitely simple, but not easy. Being consistent separates those that succeed from those that do not.
I think the most satisfying aspect of coaching is seeing people feel better about themselves. It brings me great satisfaction when a client comes to me with a lack of self-belief, and through the right measures becomes inspired by their results and grows more empowered in their daily lives.
