Experience
I have a background within karate, starting at the age of 7 and progressing through the ranks to become an instructor at the age of 15 and achieving a 2nd Dan black belt 2 years later. Running classes for all age groups from 5 to 80 sparked my interest in coaching and the pursuit of further studies in the realm of health and fitness.
Graduating from a Bachelors of Clinical Exercise Physiology in 2019 with over 800 hours of experience in exercise testing and prescription kickstarted my career here with the Function Well team in 2020.
Coaching Philosophy
I believe in an evidence base, holistic and balanced approach to health and fitness. Life changing goals are achievable with the right mindset, determination, support and a willingness to give it a red hot crack. “If you spend too much time thinking about a thing, you’ll never get it done.” – Bruce Lee
