As a health and fitness professional, I believe we’re in one of the world’s best environments to enhance both physical and mental performance. My role as a coach is to help you optimise that environment, enjoy the process, and build autonomy and confidence in your own training and routine here at Function Well.

Qualifications
BSc in Sport and Exercise Science + MSc in Strength and Conditioning + Level 3 Personal Training + Currently studying Neuroscience
Experience
I began my career back home in the UK. After completing my degrees, I dove headfirst into professional soccer as the First Team Sport Scientist at Oldham Athletic FC, a real baptism of fire into the industry! From there, I progressed through the football leagues, working at Burnley FC and Liverpool FC as a Physical Performance Coach. Alongside football, I also gained experience in Rugby League and Tennis.
In 2020, I made the decision to transition into the health and performance space to work with a broader range of clients and needs. This path eventually brought me to Brisbane in 2022, where I’ve been immersed in the city’s vibrant health and fitness scene ever since.
Philosophy
My approach to health and coaching strongly aligns with Function Well’s holistic philosophy. I firmly believe that true physical progress comes from evolving mentally and habitually. It’s just as important to nourish the body as it is to challenge it. Developing an awareness of internal balance, alongside external performance, lays the foundation for long-term, sustainable success and high performance.
