I am a client focussed and passionate performance coach with over 5 years of international personal and group training experience, support by a tertiary education in the Biomedical and Sport Science fields.
My venture into the health and fitness industry, and tertiary education sparked from my own body composition transformation in 2012 (losing 23 kg) to pursue College US Basketball. Post an ALC reconstruction, I devoted my energies to higher learning in Human Anatomy & Physiology, Sport Science & rehabilitation seeking to guide others in their aspirations.
My training philosophy aligns with Function Well’s holistic approach to fitness based on the ancient Chinese Yin Yang philosophy.
Focusing on a self-discipline (or self-love as I like it), mindset and prioritising nutrition to achieve body composition goals. Pursing higher performance through functional movements, which is always accompanied by restoring balance & regeneration – “you recover as hard as you train” Ross Edgley. This methodology has enabled me to attain a general prepared physique, despite my two knee surgeries and the temptations of lapsing into my old habits.
My training philosophy focusses on turning frustrating fitness into fun fitness as (let’s be honest) training at 5:00 am is not a vibe for some. But I’ll be ready and waiting for you with a smile because this what I live for.
