Growing up I have always had a passion for being active and playing sports, ranging from athletics, swimming and rugby (union/league). After school I had left athletics behind after a couple of state titles and top 2 placings at nationals (400m/800m) to pursue rugby league. A grade 3 quadricep tear injury ended that only 3 months into pre season so as most 17 year olds do… I had a teenage tantrum and moved back home to Toowoomba before deciding to move to France to pursue a Rugby Union career. After returning from France I spent a few years in limbo trying to rediscover who I was as a person which then steered me towards life coaching and finding a new passion in Crossfit. Since then my passion has been in helping men look, feel & perform better in all aspects of their life. I am constantly seeing how far I can push my body physically, mentally & emotionally.
My coaching Philosophy is so strongly aligned with that of Function Well and stems from the core mission to change lives through Fitness. I believe that physical training can teach us so many lessons for other areas of our lives. Learning to understand what your body needs physically, mentally and emotionally is something that I believe people need to start taking noticed of so that they can live a more fulfilled life.
As a Function Well Performance Coach I aim to inspire and empower my clients to be able to feel, look and perform better across all areas of their life. I believe through support, education and having the honest (tough) conversations my clients will be able to take full control of their health.
